In order to boost up the sales revenue, there are additional manpower and resources that required. We need to recruit caliber work force in various department such as customer care, sales executives, customer service, operations, finance and payroll. Thus, it’s our plan to convert our network agents into branches within the next five years in Penang, Ipoh, Melacca, Johor Bharu, Kuantan, Kuching and Kota Kinabalu. We also aspire to purchase additional truck and motors for the expansion of business. Within the next five years, we plan to purchase 2 more trucks to run the linehaul on certain lanes such as Penang (PEN) and Johor Bharu (JBJ). On the other lanes, we can use reliable contractors to handle our shipments. As such, we can boast up the load of parcels sales, thus cover the cost of domestic linehauls in Peninsular Malaysia. Currently, our strategic domestic linehaul is done by Secure Express and we fully depend on them to carry our loads. As for international shipments, we are partnering with DHL and TNT to transit our shipments on a daily basis.
With these branches and network agents in place, we can create a new Courier Management Software and reinforce them to keying in all data and proof of delivery, whereby the system enables every location to communicate, exchange data-manifest, shipment information and proof of deliveries. It will give our clients the ability to check the delivery status, next point of arrival and proof of deliveries. This input enabled production of a truly global system. We have learnt from many clients that they prefer to have a customize software to handle at their premises. Hence, we can also provide this customize software and functions that suit our corporate clients; ie track and trace, print connote by using label, email, communicate with staffs and superlink. To keep pace with the changing environment, the system is upgraded every now and then. We will be using scanners and bar-coding into our daily movement of courier. Thus, Bumi X (M) Sdn Bhd and its customers are able to monitor their shipments with ease. In this way, a cutting edge system is ensured to keep up with latest technology.
With the extensive network in place, the group is well equipped to deliver the best services as compared to any other services providers currently in the market.
